Dauis Church

Dauis Church is located in the town proper. This church and its adjacent convent have been rehabilitated by the Ayala's for years now. There is a cafe located on the ground floor of the convent and extends under the old acacia tree. It serves good and cheap food. :)

To go there, hail a tricycle from anywhere and agree upon the fare. PhP50 is fair enough. Or you may also tell your hired car or van that you want to go there. :)

St Clement's

St Clement's is a Redemptorist Church located along Luna St., Lapaz, Iloilo City.

To go there, board a Jaro CPU or Jaro Liko jeepney. Fare is PhP 7.50 as of this writing.

Angelicum

This school was once a mansion of the Lizares.

To go there, board a Jaro Liko or Leganes jeepney.

Bike Road

I forgot the real name of this road but this is known to many as boardwalk or bike road. People stroll, jog, skate or bike here. At early morning and evening, a taebo/aerobics event otherwise known as "Hataw sa Boardwalk" takes place here.

Bikes are for rent at P50 (and your ID). All else are free except of course the numerous food stalls on the sidewalks.

Bike road can be accessed 24/7 behind Barbecue Park or after the bridge near Savior International Hospital. It is very safe. I have never heard of hold-ups and robberies taking place here.

To reach Bike Road, one may ride a Leganes Highway or SM City Proper jeepney. To reach the other end, one may opt to take a Molo Mandurriao, Molo or Villa jeepeny.
